Requirements
- Caring, patient, and dependable
- Enjoy working with children of all ages
- Ability to stay organized and multitask
- Able to remain calm in a busy child care setting
- Food Handler Permit
- First Aid and CPR (or willingness to obtain)
- Child care training (or willingness to complete)
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
Responsibilities
- Support children in one classroom or across multiple classrooms, depending on center needs
- Assist with daycare routines, learning activities, and schedules
- Help maintain a clean, safe, and organized classroom
- Provide nurturing care and positive guidance
- Support meals, snacks, rest time, and transitions
- Help children follow hygiene routines and daily structure
- Communicate with families and team members
