About The Position

As a School Age Teacher, you'll:
Plan and lead activities and enrichment for children ages 6-12
Provide careful supervision for a cohort of up to 17 children
Create an environment that is safe, positive and inclusive
Engage with and enrich children using positive language, loving care, and interactive play
Adhere to robust health and safety protocols

Requirements

• Possess an Associate's or Bachelor's degree in education
• Have 1-2 years experience in a similar role
• Are a flexible & communicative team player
• Enjoy working with school-aged learners, and see every child as infinitely capable
• Value and create trusting relationships with children, families, and colleagues
• Have an understanding of core child development concepts
• Are dynamic and creative in their approach to leading and can come up with activities in a pinch
• Are conscientious, with a strong ability to learn and follow health & safety policies and other rules and procedures
• Embrace positive behavior management; are able to lead a group with empathy and fun
