About The Position
The School Adjustment Counselor for the BRIDGE Program at New Bedford High School provides direct counseling and behavioral support to high-need students requiring intensive social-emotional and academic interventions. This role involves collaboration with families, staff, and outside agencies to ensure wraparound services, crisis response, and successful student transitions. Caseload is subject to change based on the evolving needs of the school and BRIDGE program. The School Adjustment Counselor will assist students with academic learning and academic achievement by providing strategic services that identify and address the social-emotional and behavioral concerns as well as environmental issues that interfere with the educational process.
