About The Position

Join our team as a Scholastic Sales Representative and take on a pivotal role in fostering positive and enriching school environments. In this position, you will celebrate experiences, milestones, and achievements within the educational community while driving growth in your assigned territory accounts. You will service and grow your own territory accounts. You will maintain, strengthen and build relationships to stay apprised of customer needs and priorities as related to our services.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree (10+ years in sales or relevant work experience considered in lieu of degree)
  • 1-2 years of proven sales experience, preferably in a scholastic or educational environment.
  • Bi-lingual in Spanish, highly preferred
  • 1-2 years of Salesforce experience or related CRM experience, highly preferred
  • 5 years of Microsoft Office experience to include Teams, Outlook, Word and Excel
  • Reliable vehicle is required
  • Clean criminal background clearances for school/student interactions
  • Home office or workspace

Responsibilities

  • Establish a systematic process for nurturing leads through the sales funnel.
  • Develop and implement sales strategies that align with business objectives, prioritize opportunities, and allocate resources efficiently to maximize sales outcomes.
  • Deliver outstanding customer service, responding to inquiries and resolving issues in a timely manner.
  • Execute robust marketing campaigns in all accounts, increasing base sales year over year.
  • Use CRM software to monitor the status of leads and opportunities, analyze sales data, and provide insights on pipeline health and performance.
  • Attend all learning and development opportunities to consistently grow your skills and abilities.
  • Act as a liaison between Herff Jones and educational institutions, fostering a spirit of partnership and collaboration.
