About The Position

The Scholarship Administrator will play a crucial role in managing the Educational Foundation's scholarship program at CCAC. This position involves overseeing the promotion and awarding process of scholarships during two annual award cycles, ensuring that all recordkeeping is accurate and up-to-date. The administrator will be responsible for administering the scholarship website, managing the distribution of over 125 scholarships, and creating and updating scholarship applications. Additionally, the role requires assisting students throughout the application process, running reports as needed, and promoting the scholarship program through social media and email communications in collaboration with the CCAC ITS department and the Registrar's Office. In this position, the Scholarship Administrator will coordinate the application review process and the awarding of scholarships. This includes confirming the vetting of scholarship award recipients' personal information and working closely with the CCAC Student Accounts, Financial Aid, and Finance offices to ensure that scholarship awards are transferred to recipients' accounts. The administrator will also notify students of their scholarship awards and promote the scholarship program in-person at various CCAC campus and center locations. This involves running student application workshops and collaborating with different CCAC departments to raise awareness of scholarship opportunities among both internal and external constituents. The Scholarship Administrator will support scholarship recipients by providing information regarding the award process, assisting with thank you letters, and maintaining contact with the CCAC Financial Aid Office. They will also be involved in tracking the academic progress of scholarship recipients and maintaining records for donor stewardship activities. Additionally, the administrator will assist in assembling year-end scholarship reports for donors and researching emerging trends and best practices in scholarship administration. Other related duties may be assigned as required.
