About The Position

The Chime Scholars Foundation (CSF) is looking for a mission-driven, detail-oriented team player to join us as a Scholar Community Coordinator. This role sits at the intersection of community building and scholarship operations—you'll help cultivate a supportive, high-touch experience for our growing community of Chime Scholars while keeping the engine of our renewal scholarship cycle running smoothly. You'll be a go-to resource for current scholars, helping them stay connected, engaged, and on track for renewal. Many of our scholars are the first in their families to pursue higher education, and this role plays a critical part in making sure they feel seen, supported, and set up for success year after year. The base salary offered for this role and level of experience will begin at $86,000.00 and up to $119,000.00. Full-time employees are also eligible for a bonus, competitive equity package, and benefits. Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 1–2 years of experience in community engagement, program coordination, scholarship administration, or a related field
  • Experience with Google Suite
  • CRM experience—preferably Salesforce
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Desire to build relationships both internally and externally

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a primary point of contact for current scholars—building trust through consistent, thoughtful outreach (email, SMS, surveys)
  • Help coordinate logistics for scholar events (virtual and in-person), including registration, reminders, and post-event follow-up
  • Maintain and moderate the CSF LinkedIn group—fostering peer connection, celebrating scholar wins, and encouraging participation
  • Support Chime employee-focused CSF events and volunteer activations
  • Be a champion for students—offering encouragement and proactively identifying opportunities to improve the scholar experience
  • Support the end-to-end renewal scholarship cycle, including application setup, scholar notifications, and deadline tracking
  • Help verify renewal eligibility by reviewing applications, transcripts, and enrollment documentation
  • Respond to scholar questions related to the renewal process with empathy, clarity, and speed
  • Maintain accurate scholar data in Salesforce—tracking participation, renewal status, and key milestones
  • Assist with internal documentation and process improvements to make renewal cycles more efficient and student-friendly each year
  • Collaborate with the CSF Operations and Content teams to collect scholar feedback and surface stories for CSF use internally and externally
  • Support special projects as assigned by the Scholar Success Manager and VP, Chime Scholars Foundation
