About The Position

The Scheduling Specialist will be responsible for scheduling rough and trims, and re-scheduling for underground and tugs. This role involves managing the master schedule, communicating with builders, coordinating various inspections (Underslab, tugs, roughs, tug changeover/Pre power), handling failed inspection fees, and maintaining inspection logs on shared drives. The specialist will also contact county offices for issues preventing inspection scheduling and access multiple builder websites to check on job sites. The position requires a willingness to cover other locations when a team member is out.

Requirements

  • Must be reliable and extremely trustworthy.
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related programs.
  • Must be able to learn Computer Ease and other software systems.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Must have time management skills and multitasking skills.
  • Be able to stay focused on tasks and work well under pressure.
  • Must be a team player and willing to learn new procedures.
  • High school diploma required.
  • 2+ years of Customer service experience required
  • License Required: Yes

Nice To Haves

  • At least 4 years of scheduling experience preferred.
  • 3+ years of Data Entry preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Schedules all Rough and Trims in Computer ease to send out.
  • Access Supply Pro to schedule and communicate with Builders regarding roughs and trims.
  • Maintains Master schedule; revises and alerts appropriate department or client of schedule changes or delays.
  • Schedules inspections for Underslab, tugs, roughs, tug changeover/ Pre power (for some counties)
  • Pay failed inspections fees and print out failed inspections.
  • Keep track of failed or passed inspections on excel sheets for subdivisions on inspection log on shared drive.
  • Contact county for any issues which prevent scheduling inspections (ex. Linking the master Notice if Commencement from the building permit to the electrical permit.)
  • Access multiple builder websites to check on job sites.
  • Must be willing to cover other locations when a team member is out.
  • Other related duties as assigned.
