About The Position

We're looking for a Scheduling Manager to join our Community Based Services right now!

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, health care or human services or
  • Eight (8) years’ related experience
  • Excellent administrative, organizational, and logistical skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and effectively with multiple service lines and personnel
  • Strong data management skills and ability to develop effective new reporting
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle

Responsibilities

  • Assign shifts to employees in multiple locations and areas across service lines while understanding the person specific requirement necessary to ensure the highest safety standards.
  • Extract and manage scheduling information in order to place employees on time-efficient schedules, avoid scheduling conflicts and ensure adequate shift coverage.
  • Communicate overtime needs with Managers and Directors.
  • Communicate with Managers and Directors regarding scheduling issues and concerns and maintain appropriate reports.
  • Provide accurate and timely updates to staff and employee personnel pertaining to changes in schedules.
  • Function as part of project team within and between service lines, working closely with managers, directors, and vice presidents.
  • Participate in regular management meetings. Communicate delivery system performance concerns and potential solutions for improvement.
  • Crosstrain to learn and function in scheduling and operations.
  • Provide direct supervision to Scheduling Assistant including providing performance feedback and facilitating a positive work experience.
