In this role you will manage a team of schedulers who establishes, reviews and maintains the master production schedule in alignment with the sales forecast for our agricultural and industrial whole goods for all of Vermeer Pella. We’re looking for a strong leader with process management/improvement skills and a drive to maximize the team’s potential.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree with a minimum five years’ related experience with production scheduling or production control.
• Knowledge of manufacturing, MRP systems, value streams and lean processes.
• Ability to effectively manage a team and resources to meet customer demand.
• Multi-task and prioritize with demonstrated ability to produce accurate and professional documents in a timely manner.
• Manage projects to meet timelines/deadlines.

Nice To Haves

• Previous material management experience is preferred; and/or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team that builds schedules from sales forecasts to ensure level loading of manufacturing and satisfying customer demand.
• Ensure team members are adjusting weekly schedules based on production hours, time to build, parts availability, and market demand.
• Ensure projects and customer requests are completed in an accurate and timely manner to meet customer expectations.
• Positively and professionally collaborate with the SIOP team, order desk, production control, sales, operations and other internal departments.
