About The Position

Moog in East Aurora, NY is hiring a Scheduling & Logistics Coordinator to support our new Operations Training Center! As the Scheduling & Logistics Coordinator, you will play a critical role in creating a welcome, well-organized training experience that supports Moog’s workforce development and operational excellence. You will be responsible for end-to-end class scheduling, training logistics, stockroom and kitting operations, and IT system resets to ensure seamless technical training delivery for new and existing Moog employees. You will partner closely with trainers and onsite teams to manage training schedules, adapt to real-time changes, prepare classrooms and systems for each bootcamp, and maintain accurate inventory and supplies. We are looking for a highly organized, proactive professional who thrives in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. You will work an onsite schedule at our training center located in East Aurora, NY.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma, or GED
  • At least five (5) years of directly related experience in a warehouse or production environment, and experience with stock management, kitting, planning and scheduling.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, independent environment requires high adaptability, proactive time management, and the ability to multitask.
  • Strong communication, organizational skills, and sense of urgency.
  • Ability to understand and apply all verbal, written, and computer work instructions.
  • Ability to perform simple addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
  • Experience using Microsoft Suite, including Outlook, Word and Excel.

Nice To Haves

  • Demonstrated knowledge of MRP planning processes.
  • Ability to establish PowerBI forms.
  • Ability to use and modify SharePoint.
  • Exposure to Survey or quiz web-apps, like Kahoot or Microsoft Forms.
  • ERP System and/or Procurement System experience.
  • Experience with Learning Management Systems (LMS).

Responsibilities

  • Own end-to-end class scheduling
  • Manage class scheduling – submit adjust, add/remove classes.
  • Adapt classroom schedules to address no-shows, track, and communicate with supervisors.
  • Manage SharePoint-based class request processes.
  • Manage Training Center stock room and setups
  • Manage and facilitate distribution of physical operator credentials.
  • Reset IT systems prior to each new bootcamp session (twice per month).
  • Own stockroom and kitting process including identify, order, and restock training supplies and kits monthly, at two Moog plants.
  • Own building entry, appearance, and welcome initiatives
  • Provide in-building directions to incoming Moog employees.
  • Support a smooth, post orientation transition for new employees.
  • Provide support to teammates for onsite process and standard work
