This full-time, first-shift Scheduling Coordinator position is with Baptist Health Medical Group Oncology in the St. Matthews area. The role involves making appointments for patients, scheduling procedures in the hospital and other facilities, and coordinating combined cases with plastic surgeons for tumor removal. The coordinator will work closely with various hospital departments including Nurse Navigation, Geneticists, Oncology, Surgery Scheduling, Plastic Surgery, and Radiology. Key aspects of the role include clear communication regarding surgical scheduling, strong organizational skills, general office assignments, daily scanning of patient records into OnBase, and obtaining appropriate insurance authorizations.
