About The Position

Scheduling Coordinator will handle all aspects of scheduling to include, OR time with proper procedure listed. Scheduling Coordinators are responsible for working rotating day, evening, and weekend hours. Scheduling Coordinator will maintain employee calendars and schedule call sign ups as needed. Scheduling Coordinators will be responsible for answering all scheduling calls from staff and offices.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent education.
  • Knowledge of standard office equipment.
  • Computer and word processing knowledge and experience.
  • Two years of surgical care experience preferred.

  • Above average organizational skills with attention to detail.
  • Strong skills in reading, writing, spelling, grammar, punctuation, and mathematical calculations.
  • Ability to work in a stressful environment.
  • Competent to successfully interact with physicians, offices, and staff according to their special needs based on the age of the patient served.
