Nebraska Medicine is seeking a dedicated Scheduling Associate to join the Heartland Hematology and Oncology team in Kearney, NE. This role is crucial in managing the scheduling of patient appointments, which includes consultations, chemotherapy sessions, diagnostic tests, and specialized procedures. The Scheduling Associate will provide essential clerical support and coordinate with patients, oncology staff, and physicians to ensure smooth scheduling and adherence to clinic protocols. This position is full-time, requiring 40 hours per week from Monday to Friday, with shifts scheduled between 8:00 AM and 5:00 PM. In this role, you will be responsible for facilitating referrals, ensuring that patients attend their scheduled treatments, and that providers receive timely consult notes. Your contributions will be vital in supporting high-quality cancer care and enhancing patient satisfaction.
