About The Position

Responsible for overseeing the administration and optimization of scheduling and timekeeping processes and systems, supporting department operations. This position involves managing the timekeeping team, overseeing payroll preparation for the department, ensuring compliance with policies, supporting system upgrades, and enhancing the efficiency of scheduling and timekeeping operations.

Requirements

  • Experience in payroll, accounting or finance, preferably in a healthcare or hospital setting 3-5 years required
  • Leadership or supervisory experience 2-3 years preferred
  • In-depth knowledge of HR policies, payroll laws, and compliance standards.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy in payroll processing.
  • Familiarity with time and attendance systems and their integration with payroll processes.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee scheduling and payroll operations, ensuring accurate and timely pay for department employees.
  • Lead the administration, maintenance, and optimization of the department’s scheduling and timekeeping processes and systems.
  • Ensure accurate application of scheduling and timekeeping policies.
  • Supervise and mentor the department timekeeping team, providing guidance on payroll processing, policy interpretation, compliance, and continuous improvement.
  • Work with unit leadership to identify potential scheduling improvement processes.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and system enhancements to streamline scheduling and timekeeping operations.
  • Prepare and submit analyses and reports to operational leaders and management.
  • Collaborate with HR and Digital departments to ensure seamless integration between timekeeping systems and other organizational systems.
  • Collaborate with Digital and other departmental timekeeping stakeholders to align system functionality with department policies and optimize user functionality.
