ACCIONA, through its Living&Culture business unit, is seeking to hire a Scheduling and Project Controls Specialist in the United States for a cultural project.

Requirements

  • Minimum 7 years of experience in similar roles.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data analysis, schedule and financial modeling.
  • Deep understanding of planning, financial principles and budgeting processes.
  • Experience with Primavera P6 or MS Project, ERP (Navision, Business Central).
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to articulate complex information clearly.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the capacity to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Team-oriented mindset with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments.

Responsibilities

  • Develop project planning using P6 or MS Project, establishing the baseline for economic and progress work monitoring.
  • Assist in the preparation of project budgets and forecasts, monitoring financial performance throughout the project lifecycle to ensure alignment with organizational goals and objectives.
  • Manage project changes to minimize their impact on the overall schedule.
  • Analyze project data to identify variances, communicating corrective actions as necessary to maintain on schedule targets.
  • Attend meetings to oversee and validate third-party schedules to ensure project objectives are met.
  • Support the management team (or Project Manager) in tracking project timelines, remaining cost estimate, deliverables, and resource allocation.
  • Analyze project performance metrics and provide actionable insights to management, enabling informed decision-making and risk mitigation.
