Outpatient services include behavioral health, nursing, and psychiatric assessment, stabilization and medication maintenance services as well as crisis intervention services as well as awareness, education and recovery groups. Program Overview: River Edge is actively seeking a Full-Time Scheduler to join our Centralized Scheduling team. In this key role, you will manage client scheduling, verify insurance and financial records, and ensure timely coordination of services. Your work will help ensure clients receive seamless and efficient access to care.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Minimum of one (1) year of relevant scheduling or administrative experience required.
  • Must be at least 21 years of age.

Responsibilities

  • Answer incoming phone calls in a professional and positive manner; direct calls or schedule appointments as needed.
  • Schedule all doctor appointments, outpatient visits, group sessions, and community support services within the client’s appropriate service area.
  • Ensure clients are scheduled directly with approved third-party insurance payers.
  • Verify client records for accuracy, including authorization, connections, treatment plans, intake assessments, and annual updates.
  • Confirm that clients have a current financial application, completed registration, and an up-to-date ANSA or CANS assessment on file.
