About the position

The Scheduler position at AECOM in Fresno, CA, is responsible for overseeing Right-of-Way (ROW) acquisitions and land conveyance scheduling. This role involves managing project schedules, ensuring timely delivery of milestones, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to monitor project progress and identify risks. The Scheduler will play a crucial role in the efficient management of scheduling and reporting processes, contributing to the success of real property acquisitions and land conveyance activities.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate with project collaborators and consultants to provide planning, development, scheduling, reporting, and maintenance of scheduling data for all Real Property activities
  • Perform review and analysis of the Real Property delivery schedule for reliability, risk identification, risk review, and risk assessments, including providing recommendations on appropriate actions
  • Prepare and maintain P6 schedules to accurately report the ROW schedule data
  • Support Acquisitions - Senior Project Manager and Deputy Director of Real Property in special tasks, duties, and reporting

Requirements

  • BA/BS + 6 years of relevant experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education
  • In-depth knowledge of real property principles, practices, and delivery on major transportation projects, including P6 scheduling and risk analysis
  • Proven experience in preparing and maintaining P6 schedules for large transportation projects
  • Self-starter with a proactive, result-oriented focus, ensuring accuracy, reliability, and strong oral and written communication skills
  • Comprehensive understanding of real property in a design-build environment, managing multiple interconnected projects and functional areas
  • Skilled in preparing technical correspondence, comprehensive reports, addressing audiences effectively, analyzing situations, and collaborating to achieve project goals
  • Strong background in project and civil construction management with a focus on real property and transportation projects
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, Visio, Project, and PowerPoint, with expertise in utilizing software for project delivery
  • Skilled in maintaining effective communication and relationships with management, consultants, contractors, subcontractors, and stakeholders
  • Demonstrated ability to coordinate within a matrix organization, ensuring smooth program delivery and successful project outcomes
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and negotiation skills, capable of engaging with consultants, stakeholders, governmental agencies, and the public
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to develop solutions for complex technical and logistical challenges in real property and land conveyance delivery
