About The Position

Agawam South Rehab & Nursing is seeking a Staff Scheduler to fill a full-time position in our skilled nursing facility. This is a dynamic position to provide a variety of meaningful activities for our elders daily. Tasks as a Staff Scheduler ... Ensure all employees are entered into the facilities scheduling system. Ensure each full and part time employee has a set schedule that is followed. Communicate with employees for open shifts as they become available. Review all punches against the schedule to ensure they are accurate. Communicate with employees for missing punches. Effectively fill shifts to ensure coverage for the facility. Conduct orientation programs for new employees to ensure smooth onboarding. Ensure employees are hired for specific open shifts. Promote a positive work culture that fosters teamwork, communication, and employee satisfaction. Address employee concerns, conflicts, and grievances in a fair and consistent manner. Ensure compliance with labor laws and regulations. Establish and maintain a performance management system, including regular evaluations and feedback. Identify opportunities for employee training and development to enhance skills and knowledge. Implement disciplinary actions when necessary, in accordance with established policies. Don't forget... Requirements

  • Healthcare scheduling experience.
  • Problem-solving and decision-making aptitude.
  • You must possess strong ethics and reliability.

  • Associates degree preferred or sufficient work experience.
