About The Position
Fairfax Radiology Centers — the largest radiology practice in the Washington, DC metropolitan area — is seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented Medical Scheduler to support patients at the very first point of contact in their imaging journey. Requirements
- Excellent phone and verbal communication skills
- Strong customer service mindset with a passion for helping others
- Strong computer skills and comfort working in multiple systems
Nice To Haves
- Call center experience preferred; healthcare or health insurance call center experience strongly preferred
Responsibilities
- Schedule a variety of radiologic exams accurately and professionally for patients and referring physician practices
- Provide exceptional customer service while handling patient calls with clarity, patience, and empathy
- Use a Windows-based, color-coded scheduling system to book and manage appointments
- Support patients by answering questions and ensuring they understand next steps
