Founded in 1982, Westminster-Canterbury on Chesapeake Bay is a not-for-profit, faith-based Life Plan Community located along the southern shore of Chesapeake Bay. The Hoy Center at Westminster-Canterbury on Chesapeake Bay offers skilled nursing care and aging services with a holistic, person-centric approach. It features home-like settings called Lighthouses, each with a family room and e-concept kitchen, and private rooms with modern designs. Residents also enjoy outdoor terraces and a dedicated prayer room. The center employs exceptional staff from top hospitals and nursing centers, as well as those who have built their careers within the community, supporting skilled nursing, long term, memory care, and rehabilitation services. The Scheduler manages the staff schedule for The Hoy Center (Skilled Nursing/Long Term Care) and Enhanced Services (Assisted Living), coordinating coverage for call-outs and scheduled time off. This role involves maintaining accurate records of employee rosters, credentials, and contact information, and utilizing computer scheduling systems and programs. The Scheduler runs various reports from the company platform (UKG) and scheduling software to ensure data accuracy and completeness, while consistently modeling and upholding the core values of respect, passion, and professionalism.
