About The Position

The Surgical Services Scheduler schedules procedures and appointments inpliance with the Operating Room, Endoscopy, and Cath Lab rules and regulations as prescribed by theerning bodies of Medical Center Hospital. He/she assists the Unit Coordinator and Unit Director in the clerical duties that are associated with record keeping of surgical cases.

Requirements

• High School graduate or equivalent.
• Medical terminology required
• Knowledge of Windows basedputer programs required
• Complete the followingpetencies within 3 months of hire or transfer to department:
• Successful posting of surgical, endoscopy, and cath lab procedures
• Management and maintenance of procedures in HSM system
• Generate needed reports
