About The Position

GFT is seeking a Scheduler to join our Construction Services team in Miami ! Candidates will be considered from the greater Miami Florida area and work in-house on site at client’s offices. We oversee every construction phase to help ensure projects are completed on schedule, within budget, and to the highest safety and quality standards . In this capacity, the successful candidate will be responsible for the following:

Requirements

  • Possess a related Associates Degree from an accredited college.
  • Completed course studies in scheduling and possess knowledge of and the execution of scheduling best practices and produce periodic reports and matrices that record and track project progress.
  • Having a credential in scheduling a plus (PMI, etc)
  • Has a minimum of 5 years of experience in the development and execution of complex project schedules.
  • Can effectively communicate orally and in writing with team members.
  • Can demonstrate the understanding, use, and functionality of scheduling terminology.
  • Must work in clients offices

Nice To Haves

  • Has knowledge and is proficient in the use of Primavera Project Planner (P6).
  • Proficiency with MS Office.
  • FDOT experience Highway/Roadway scheduling experience

Responsibilities

  • Prepares the Project schedule based upon the project scope of work.
  • Assemble, record, and transfer necessary data for schedule updating and report generation.
  • Communicates with project team members and compiles data for these purposes.
  • Assure continuity and consistency in required reports.
