The Scheduler plans and prepares schedules for mid-size projects/programs within an assigned Region or Division, coordinates the collection of relevant data points, and monitors project progress. The Scheduler will understand the major business components and implications specific to scheduling for Construction Companies and ensure compliance with the Henkels & McCoy established Project Management Methodology and upholds H&M safety and quality management protocols.

  • Prepare, monitor and revise resource and cost loaded construction or installation schedules.
  • Produce critical path analysis and status reporting.
  • Develop recovery plan/what-if schedules as required.
  • Develop and implement scheduling guidelines.
  • Monitor compliance with the H&M Project Management Methodology (PMM) and associated scheduling and control standards.
  • Interface with various internal and external stakeholders on planning and scheduling related items and functions.
  • Communicate effectively with operations to ensure timely completion of schedules and projects.
  • Experienced in resource loading scheduling, using linear scheduling software, and working knowledge of construction and relevant industry practices.
  • Experienced in Critical Path Scheduling software (Primavera or comparable scheduling tool).
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Completion of H&M PMM training and some formal Project Management coursework.
  • Moderately complex problem-solving skills.
  • Minimum Educational Background: BS Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, related field or equivalent work experience.
  • Minimum Years of Relevant Experience: 4+.
