  • Maintain employees' daily schedules and dispatch HVAC and plumbing technicians as service calls are completed.
  • Maintain the on-call schedule for service technicians and update the customer database with current information.
  • Schedule return trips with customers when parts come in.
  • Answer incoming calls, prioritize the most urgent calls, and dispatch technicians.
  • Relay detailed and accurate information to technicians and update customers throughout the day.
  • Provide clear and concise information to department managers, employees, and customers.
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
  • 5+ years of related experience or training in customer service, dispatching or project management, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 2+ years of HVAC dispatcher experience.
  • 3+ years of dispatching experience.
  • Geographical knowledge of the service area or map reading skills.
  • Intermediate computer skills.
  • Knowledge about the HVAC industry.
  • Advanced understanding of software technologies, such as iOS, Android, and Windows OS.
