Centralized Scheduling Representatives prepare paperwork for the medical chart and billing folder. They determine the financial status and obtain requirements for self-pay patients. The role involves obtaining and appropriately routing orders received from various physicians, patients, and Document Delivery. Adherence to a high standard of customer service is essential. Schedulers will perform all other duties as assigned to promote efficient and effective operations. They are responsible for entering all demographic information from patients, physician offices, posting sheets, Document Delivery, etc. when scheduling procedures. Schedulers act as the dispositioners for Document Delivery, monitoring the documents that are faxed into Document Delivery and required to disposition them in the appropriate queues for scheduling. They are also required to email all late addons or changes to the schedule to all appropriate parties.
