Amphenol is one of the largest manufacturers of interconnect products in the world. The Company designs, manufactures and markets electrical, electronic and fiber optic connectors, coaxial and flat-ribbon cable, and interconnect systems. The primary end markets for the Company's products are communications and information processing markets, including cable television, cellular telephone and data communication and information processing systems; aerospace and military electronics; and automotive, rail and other transportation and industrial applications. The Scheduler/Planner position is located at Amphenol- FCI Etters, PA and is not eligible for Visa Sponsorship or Relocation. This is a full-time position with working hours from 8 AM to 5 PM. The role involves initiating, tracking, and expediting orders to meet customer needs and internal requirements for imported products, achieving on-time delivery and inventory management goals, and updating information to keep customers informed of status.

  • Communicates to internal and external customers and foreign manufacturing sites in order to receive and give information.
  • Plans and schedules orders from subsidiaries.
  • Verifies incoming shipments and outgoing product orders to ensure proper match of supply and demand.
  • Forecasts and achieves monthly billings from imported products.
  • Maintains records of imported product orders to reconcile with accounting.
  • Expedites orders to satisfy customer needs.
  • Maintains accurate lead-times for imported products.
  • Maintains part number databases for imported products.
  • Tracks orders to identify status and ensure on-time delivery.
  • Recommends inventory levels to meet the objective of J.I.T.
  • Updates procedures and manuals to have the latest revisions and resources.
  • Communicates extensively with foreign site personnel to meet expedites, cancel requests, or push out requests.
  • Provides Proforma Invoices to foreign sites and works with them for tracking details.
  • Works with warehouse to process PO receipt and bill only.
  • Maintains dates in QAD based on committed ship dates from non-EDI suppliers.
  • Maintains ASNs in QAD from non-EDI suppliers.
  • Works flexible hours to accommodate live communications with foreign subsidiaries.
  • Proficient with Database software, Internet software, Inventory software, Manufacturing software, Order processing systems, Word/Excel/Access/Outlook.
  • Demonstrated written and oral communication skills.
