About The Position

Franciscan Health Mooresville Campus 1201 Hadley Rd Mooresville, Indiana 46158 The Scheduler working with Franciscan Health primarily holds responsibilities related to administrative and customer service functions. The Scheduler, also, assists in financial duties, including insurance coverages and authorizations. This position may request and verify receipt of other medical test results and surgery clearances, and may provide back-up coverage to other non-clinical positions. WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT FPN Neurosciences/Rehab Specialists, Mooresville, Scheduler, Full Time, Monday through Friday Schedules surgeries, appointments, tests, and procedures specific to their physician practice in-person or by phone, using Electronic Health Record; coordinates external vendors, multiple physicians, and surgery locations as required. Maintains the scheduling system, including maintenance of physician-specific schedules, and coordinating with schedulers at the surgery site for time and physician-specific preferences; verifies records are accurate and complete. Coordinates insurance, including verification of coverage, obtaining prior authorizations, and educating the patient on benefits and out of pocket amounts. Requests and verifies receipt of medical records, test results, and clearances for surgeries/procedures. Processes refills through incoming calls, electronic requests or faxes, and sends to the nurse or provider for approval.

Requirements

• High School Diploma/GED
• 1 year Physician Office
