About The Position

The Scheduler Material Planning Supervisor applies standard concepts, practices, and procedures within the label printing industry to ensure a continuous and efficient flow of materials supporting printing operations. This role is responsible for maintaining adequate raw material availability while minimizing excess inventory and preventing waste.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinates and schedules all Flexo orders, ensuring accurate and timely publication of daily machine schedules.
  • Oversees production for all Flexo orders, coordinating materials and components to ensure timely availability and optimal efficiency.
  • Works closely with the extrusion department to align film production and delivery schedules with press requirements.
  • Evaluates manufacturing orders and confirms the feasibility of requested completion dates.
  • Reviews and coordinates daily production schedules with appropriate manufacturing personnel to ensure smooth operations.
  • Provides leadership and direction for the Material Planning team, ensuring effective execution of all planning activities.
  • Continuously adjusts and publishes schedules to accommodate customer priorities and evolving production requirements.
  • Leads Material Planners in the shrink film month-end and year-end inventory.
  • Maintains daily silo reports and coordinates resin deliveries and replenishment to ensure uninterrupted production.
  • Serves as backup to Gravure Shrink Scheduler.
  • Performs all other duties as assigned.
