About The Position

Manatee Memorial Hospital in Bradenton, Florida, has served the citizens of Manatee, Sarasota and surrounding counties for over 70 years. Requirements

• High School Diploma/GED required.
• Minimum of one (1) year medical scheduling experience preferred.
• Excellent communication and verbal skills.

Responsibilities

• Answer incoming phone calls and provide a positive, professional first point of contact for patients and other callers.
• Schedule appointments and procedures accurately while obtaining and verifying all required information, such as insurance authorizations, eligibility, prescriptions, blood test results, and patient demographics.
• Maintain a high level of customer service and ensure patient confidentiality in accordance with established policies and procedures.
• Support seamless coordination of care through clear and respectful communication.
• Demonstrate Service Excellence at all times.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
