The Marine Scheduler is a customer facing role with responsibilities for managing the incoming and outgoing product receipts from all sources and product types based on customer demand and storage capability. The marine facilities receive product 24/7/365 from a potential of five different sources – rail car, truck rack, barge/ship, pipeline, and tank-to-tank transfers within the facility. The Marine Scheduler will identify potential timing conflicts with assets that overlap and react accordingly to mitigate the situation in the least impactful way possible. Schedulers rotate an on-call responsibility for 24/7/365 service to accommodate real time changes. Correct, real time decisions are needed daily that can have significant financial impacts to both the customer(s) and ONEOK. Marine Schedulers ensure proper handling and entry of product movement details (bills of lading, meter tickets, pipeline movement sheets) into the inventory management system (Mainsail/Mainmast), verify inventory and storage capacity, compare, and analyze gauge paperwork completed by operations and the third-party inspectors to ensure accounting is receiving accurate information for customer billing.
