About The Position

Responds timely to system and/or clinician schedule requests to ensure referrals and ongoing care is scheduled per policy/orders and patient need. Utilizes system scheduling module, communication tools and reports to ensure timely and well-coordinated patient visits effectively and accurately. Utilizes other patient information systems to ensure complete referral information attached and available in EMR when appropriate. Provides timely feedback to leadership when barriers to productivity, staffing needs and or untimely clinician response for communication and documentation. Monitors assigned reports for compliance with requested scheduling and alerts when scheduling is outside of regulatory or agency policy.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • 1 year progressively responsible secretarial and administrative experience required, 3 years preferred.
  • Organized, effective oral and written communication, ability to multi-task/prioritize, customer service skills preferred.
  • Strong computer/typing skills preferred.
