We are currently searching for an experienced, detail-oriented scheduling professional to join our team as a Scheduler – Bidding & Preconstruction to support our estimating and development teams during pursuit, budgeting, and preconstruction phases.

Requirements

  • Strong work ethic, initiative, and desire to grow professionally.
  • Experience in EPC construction; utility‑scale solar experience preferred but not required.
  • Demonstrated experience creating bid-phase or early-phase schedules for large construction projects.
  • Ability to work with Estimating, Engineering, and Procurement teams to develop realistic and competitive proposal schedules.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to think strategically and integrate information from incomplete or early‑stage design sources.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities and limited information.
  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Project and Primavera P6 required.
  • Strong skills in Microsoft 365; PowerBI experience is a plus.
  • Bachelor’s degree required; degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience in construction scheduling, with at least 2 years in preconstruction or bidding environments.

  • PMP or AACEI scheduling certifications a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, own, and maintain Microsoft Project or Primavera P6 preconstruction schedules for project pursuits, RFP responses, early design development, and project planning.
  • Create bid schedules, including development of baseline sequences, durations, logic ties, constraints, and milestone frameworks used for pricing and proposal submissions.
  • Translate conceptual engineering information, early design sets, and high-level project strategies into feasible, competitive schedules for estimating and proposal teams.
  • Support the Estimating team by modeling construction sequence options, evaluating schedule-driven cost impacts, and analyzing labor/equipment resource needs.
  • Produce schedule graphics, narratives, milestone maps, and phasing exhibits for inclusion in RFPs, interview materials, and client presentations.
  • Support business development by presenting schedule strategy, critical path reasoning, and construction methodology during pursuit interviews.
  • Work with Engineering and Procurement teams to forecast lead times, permitting durations, early work packages, and long‑lead equipment timelines for accurate proposal planning.
  • Identify and communicate schedule risks, opportunities, and alternative execution pathways based on lessons learned and historical performance.
  • Provide schedule‑based insights for proposal risk registers, bid reviews, go/no‑go discussions, and contract negotiation support.
  • Develop early level‑2 or level‑3 construction schedules to support the handoff from preconstruction to project execution teams.
  • Collaborate with Project Controls to align preconstruction schedules with cost models (resource/cost loading optional based on pursuit requirements).
