About The Position

The Scent Tech is a fundamental position at Scenthound, offering quick and efficient hygiene & wellness services that meet Scenthound standards Training & Growth: Direct career growth path- Many of our technicians advance into grooming, training or management roles. No grooming experience required- we provide full hands-on training. You'll learn safe dog handling, proper techniques, and how to work confidently in a structured, supportive environment. Requirements

Ability to safely assist dogs up to 70 pounds using team support and proper handling techniques
Stamina to stand for long periods of time
Reliable transportation
Willingness to work in a smoke-free environment

Nice To Haves

Dog Handling is a plus but not required

Responsibilities

Clean and/ or prep dogs for grooming, according to the order ticket
Bathe, blow dry, clip/ grind nails, clean ears, brush coat, clean teeth, express glands
Identify the dog’s health indicators and input them into a S.C.E.N.T. Check app
Work on a team to complete the services ordered
Assist others/ Ask others for assistance when needed to keep Scenter on schedule
Ensure the safety of dogs and team members at all times
Adhere to Scenthound sanitary and cleaning practices
Perform other tasks and duties as assigned by the Scenter Manager
