Our current hybrid approach requires staff to work onsite a minimum of two days each week, every Tuesday and Wednesday, Hybrid staff are also welcome to come in additional days each week or may be asked to come in on other days by their manager. JOB OVERVIEW & RESPONSIBILITIES Working in the Production Production Group, under the supervision of the Production Manager. Assist in cost estimates Directly supervise and actively take part in the purchase, construction, maintenance, and/or disposal of sets and properties as directed by the Scenics Manager Assist in the supervision and initial installation of new shows in the studios and assists the Production Services Studio Engineers for subsequent installations. Expected to maintain: building materials, pneumatic and other equipment, storage and staging areas in Scenics, the carpenter shop and other areas as needed. Provide, as work load permits, specialized non-scenic services to other areas (graphics, engineering, etc.). In periods of heavy work load, the Carpenter, at the direction of the Scenics Manager, will supervise temporary employees assesses manpower needs and arrange the employment of various kinds of Scenic technicians. In the absence of the Scenics Manager, the Carpenter will assist the Production Group and Business Managers in tracking Scenics expenses. Actively promote safety in the work areas.
