About The Position
Employees of the scene shop will be responsible for realization of all scenery and lighting designs for Mercer University Theatre. In short, we create magic and illusions four shows a year. Employees will work hard, have fun, and get dirty.
Requirements
- Perform heavy lifting on a regular basis
- Work with all manner of power tools, including saws
- Perform their job while strictly observing safety
- Occasionally work on Saturdays as needed
- Be open to learning new things
- Commit to a work schedule for the semester
Nice To Haves
- Preference will be given to students who are Theatre majors
- plan to be a Theatre major
- are looking to be involved in the theatre for fun
- or simply have construction experience.
