About The Position
The System Control Center Reliability Coordinator (System Operator) is responsible for assisting with the safe, efficient, and reliable operation of the AEP transmission system across various RTO regions. This position involves coordinating congestion relief on overloaded transmission facilities, supporting switching operations, maintaining voltage levels, and developing notifications regarding outages and system disturbances. It is an intermediate trainee position that requires direct supervision for any actions impacting the real-time system.
