The Scanner position at Vallarta Supermarkets involves maintaining accurate pricing for all departments at cash registers, ensuring that all items scan at the correct price. The role requires maintaining current, clean, and accurate retail shelf labels throughout the store, as handwritten or temporary tags are not acceptable. Additionally, the Scanner will be responsible for changing advertised specials weekly, conducting weekly scan audits, checking competition prices, and providing sales information to management. The position also includes maintaining office supplies for the Front End and ensuring that Front End equipment is operational. The Scanner will report to the Grocery Manager and assist with company marketing events as needed.
