About The Position

This position involves various responsibilities related to document management, including receiving, opening, sorting, preparing, scanning, mailing, and archiving documents. The role requires a basic to intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Word, Excel, and Outlook, with a preference for MS Access. The candidate must be able to lift up to 25 lbs and perform data entry tasks efficiently.

Requirements

  • Willingness to work shifts.
  • Basic to Intermediate proficiency with MS Word, Excel and Outlook; MS Access preferred.
  • Computer proficiency.
  • Able to logically identify document types and sort them.
  • Ability to meet tight deadlines.
  • Must have strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and multi-task priorities.

Responsibilities

  • Document receiving, opening, sorting, preparation, scanning, mailing and archiving.
  • Mailing – print, insert and postmark letters for mailing.
  • Receiving mail – ability to lift 25 lbs.
  • Preparation – opening packages and letters.
  • Sorting – capacity to determine client and form types, grouping them.
  • Scanning – match, identify and scan forms into the proper form groups.
  • Archiving – prepare the scanned documents for archive.
  • Some data entry, 20WPM or better.
