About The Position

The Scale Operator plays a critical role in ensuring accurate weight measurements for materials and products within a manufacturing, shipping, or logistics environment. Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Basic math skills and ability to perform accurate measurements.
• Experience operating industrial scales or similar weighing equipment.
• Ability to follow detailed instructions and maintain accurate records.
• Strong attention to detail and reliability.

Responsibilities

• Operate various types of scales and weighing equipment to measure incoming and outgoing materials accurately.
• Record and verify weight data, ensuring all measurements comply with company policies and regulatory standards.
• Perform routine maintenance and calibration of scales to maintain accuracy and functionality.
• Communicate effectively with warehouse, production, and logistics teams to coordinate weighing activities and resolve discrepancies.
• Maintain detailed logs and documentation related to weight measurements and equipment maintenance.
• Identify and report any equipment malfunctions or irregularities to the maintenance team promptly.
• Adhere to safety protocols and company policies to ensure a safe working environment.
