Scoular is seeking a motivated scale operator to join their team and contribute to their mission of creating safe and reliable supply chain solutions for their customers.

Requirements

• Experience using a keyboard and navigating computer screens
• Ability to handle standard office phone calls
• Strong customer service skills
• Attention to detail
• Dependable attendance
• Flexibility to work overtime, including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed
• Must be able to remain standing on hard surfaces for long periods of time
• Must be able to work in an environment with high levels of grain dust
• Must be able to bend and reach in normal range of movement

Nice To Haves

• Operating a scale and grading equipment preferred but not required

Responsibilities

• Weigh incoming and outgoing trucks and direct them to the correct loading/unloading areas
• Communicate with the production team to keep operations running smoothly
• Enter customer and commodity information into a tracking system
• Collect grain samples by probing incoming trucks
• General housekeeping duties for the scale room and office
• Greet customers and visitors (both in person and via phone) while providing superior customer service
