About The Position
The position involves performing operating sequences to receive and exit vehicles through incoming and outgoing scales, assisting in checking all components of the weigh scale system to ensure proper operation, and maintaining a control environment in the scale house. The role also includes operating traffic control devices, issuing receipts to vehicle drivers, and performing routine office and clerical work such as answering phones and using computer applications. Additionally, the position requires supervising and evaluating assigned staff, training volunteers, and managing work schedules to ensure adequate coverage.
