Austin Industrial is currently seeking a Scaffold Carpenter to join our staff located at La Porte, TX. They must be able to assist in the construction, assembly, maintenance, and dismantling of tubular scaffolding or other temporary structures. Other duties may be assigned.

Requirements

• 5-7 years of journeyman-level experience in scaffolding.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid NCCER.
• Valid Driver's License is required.
• Meet physical demands as listed above.
• Ability to work overtime, weekends, and holidays as needed by the assigned location.
• Comfortable working at heights and in various weather conditions.
• Applicants must be legally able to work for ANY employer in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Build and erect scaffolding systems using blueprints or supervisor instructions.
• Safely dismantle scaffolds when no longer needed.
• Load, transport, and store scaffold materials (pipes, frames, boards, fittings).
• Conduct routine safety inspections and perform repairs as needed.
