Job duties may include but are not limited to the following:
Erect, alter, disassemble, move, repair and inspect scaffolds
Review blueprints or specifications to determine work requirements
Complete assigned scaffold tasks with quality workmanship
Operate a variety of power/manual tools and equipment used in scaffold carpentry
Follow established safety rules and regulations and maintain a safe and clean environment
Ability to perform all job duties and associated work functions in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner
Perform heavy physical labor
Ability to follow instructions from supervisors and foremen
Knowledge of carpentry and construction techniques and procedures
On-the-job training offered

Descripción del trabajo
Las responsabilidades del puesto de trabajo pueden incluir, entre otras, lo siguiente:
Montar, modificar, desmontar, trasladar, reparar e inspeccionar andamios
Revisar planos o especificaciones para determinar los requisitos del trabajo
Completar las tareas de andamios asignadas con mano de obra de calidad
Operar una variedad de herramientas y equipos eléctricos y manuales utilizados en carpintería andamios
Seguir las normas y reglamentos de seguridad establecidos y mantener un entorno seguro y limpio
Capacidad para realizar todas las funciones del puesto de trabajo y las tareas asociadas con atención constante y de manera segura
Realizar trabajos físicos pesados
Capacidad para seguir las instrucciones de los supervisores y capataces
Conocimiento de técnicas y procedimientos de carpintería y construcción
Se ofrece capacitación en el puesto de trabajo
Este cargo requiere especial atención a la seguridad.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old
• Ability to perform basic math
• Able to withstand prolonged periods standing and working outside
• Physically able to perform assigned tasks
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds at a time
