Scaffold Builder This person must be responsible for building and dismantling scaffolding structures that provide temporary access for construction, maintenance, and repair activities.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
Experience –3+ years' experience as a Scaffold Builder in industrial construction
Valid Driver's License and NCCER Certification.
Meet physical demands as listed above

Responsibilities

Reviewing construction plans and blueprints to understand the requirements for scaffolding
Assembling and dismantling scaffolding in compliance with safety regulations
Inspecting and maintaining scaffolding equipment to ensure it is in good working condition
Securing scaffolding to permanent structures with brackets or anchor bolts
Identifying potential safety hazards and taking necessary precautions to mitigate risks
Transporting scaffolding materials to and from work sites
Working collaboratively with other construction workers and tradespeople
Adapting scaffolding design to accommodate changes in the work environment
Ensuring scaffolding is stable and safe for use by other workers
Following all site safety guidelines and reporting any accidents or near misses to a supervisor
Other duties as assigned.
