About The Position

MOR PPM Inc. is seeking scaffold builders for an outage in Bennettsville, SC. Scaffold Builder is responsible for constructing and dismantling scaffolding at job sites. Must have 1-2 years work experience as a Scaffold Builder.

Requirements

• Must have 1-2 years work experience as a Scaffold Builder
• High School Diploma or GED preferred
• Occasional lifting of items weighting a maximum of 50 pounds.
• Ability to climb stairwells up to 15 levels high.
• Ability to ascend and descend ladders (step, extension, cage) up to 24’ high.
• Able to walk at a normal pace for up to 15 continuous minutes.
• Able to work from a standing position for 8-12 hours.
• Ability to twist and bend on a recurring basis.
• Weather conditions that can be expected are wet, humid, heat and cold, bright/dim light, traffic, heights, dusts, and pollen.
• The job requires normal visual acuity, field vision, hearing, speaking, color perception, sense of smell, depth perception, and texture perception.
• Some environments are in a high noise and vibrating area.

Responsibilities

• Constructing scaffolding at job sites
• Dismantling scaffolding at job sites
• Determining the amount of materials needed, transporting materials to job site, and identifying appropriate construction locations
• Adhering to the Company’s safety standards and enforcing safety regulations
• Cleans all work areas
• Performs any other duties assigned by supervisor
• Performs all work in a safe and efficient manner and keeps work area in a clean and orderly condition.
