The Scaffold Builder - Leadman will supervise in the construction, assembly, maintenance, and dismantling of tubular scaffolding or other temporary structures. Other duties may be assigned.

Requirements

• No minimum education requirements.
• NCCER Scaffold certification.
• Valid Driver's License.
• TWIC Card.
• 4 years of Journeyman-level experience.

Responsibilities

• Work at heights with no fear.
• Determine type of scaffold needed and instruct on how to install.
• Oversee transport of tubular scaffold or other structural material and erect the scaffold as instructed.
• Hoist scaffolding materials upward to erect temporary structures.
• Secure and level locking sections of scaffolding material.
• Secure scaffold to the permanent structure for added stability.
• Adhere to all OSHA, site-specific, and Austin Industrial requirements for erecting and navigating scaffolding.
• Supervise the dismantling of scaffolding when communicated to do so.
• Inspect and properly stow scaffolding material after dismantling.
• Perform final inspection of completed scaffolding.
• Other duties as assigned.
