The Scaffold and Insulation laborer will be responsible for installing, repairing, and/or removing insulation on piping, ductwork, industrial equipment, and other surfaces. They will also fabricate and install removable insulation blankets. This role involves working with a sheet metal worker to select the type and size of insulation and related materials according to project requirements. Additionally, the laborer will assemble and dismantle tubular and system scaffolding or other temporary structures, installing ladders, walkways, and handrails at sites using a variety of tools and lifts. They are also responsible for cleaning and preparing sites, including removing debris and loading/unloading scaffolding material.
