About The Position

SCADA Trainee:
Under supervision, trains in the maintenance the Authority’s Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) related systems.

SCADA Specialist I:
Under limited supervision, performs maintenance of the Authority’s Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) related systems.

SCADA Specialist II:
Under minimal supervision, performs maintenance of the Authority’s Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) related systems.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the resolution of failures; perform preventative maintenance; and train in troubleshooting and repair activities on SCADA equipment.
• Works in and around water treatment plants, water booster pump stations, production wells, water storage tanks, wastewater treatment plants, wastewater pump stations and effluent disposal sites.
• Performs other duties as required within the scope of responsibility.
• Identifies and completes resolution of failures; performs preventative maintenance; and knowledgeable in troubleshooting and repair activities on SCADA equipment.
• Trains and develops Authority staff in proper application and use of SCADA equipment.
• Coordinates jobs with vendors and contractors to minimize the impact to operations/maintenance staff.
