About The Position

The SCADA Senior Digital Delivery Professional at Jacobs is responsible for supporting the Operational Technology team in delivering and maintaining SCADA systems across North America. This role involves collaborating with project teams to enhance facility control systems, ensuring compliance with standards, and providing exceptional customer service. The position requires extensive experience in control system design and a proactive approach to problem-solving, with a focus on operational efficiency and security.

Requirements

• 8+ years' experience in Control System Design, PLC Programming, & SCADA Development
• A solid technical foundation focusing on electrical and/or control system design

Nice To Haves

• Relevant SCADA & PLC OEM certifications
• Background in networking or information systems management
• Water industry certifications and licenses
• Automotive repair, Mechanical skills, process, manufacturing knowledge

Responsibilities

• Traveling to facilities throughout the region (Approximately 1.5 weeks every month)
• Meeting with project teams and clients to discuss project needs and present solutions.
• Supporting the installation/delivery of Control Panels, PLCs, & SCADA Servers, and Workstations.
• Documenting existing infrastructure.
• Developing plans to improve facility control systems in alignment with facility needs.
• Assembling proposals, scopes of work, budgets, and project timelines for SCADA & OT projects.
• Remotely monitoring assets across facilities and identifying maintenance needs or service degradation.
• Collaborating with other disciplines on equipment installation, startup & commissioning.
• Assessing system compliance with process control, resiliency, and cyber security standards.
