About The Position

The SCADA Senior Digital Delivery Professional at Jacobs plays a crucial role in supporting the Operational Technology team across North America. This position focuses on delivering and maintaining Industrial Control Systems, particularly SCADA systems, to ensure efficient and safe operations for municipal clients. The role involves problem-solving, customer service, and collaboration with project teams to enhance facility control systems, while also providing guidance to team members to align with the facility's objectives.

Requirements

• 8+ years' experience in Control System Design, PLC Programming, & SCADA Development
• Solid technical foundation focusing on electrical and/or control system design

Nice To Haves

• Relevant SCADA & PLC OEM certifications
• Background in networking or information systems management
• Water industry certifications and licenses
• Automotive repair, Mechanical skills, process, manufacturing knowledge, etc.

Responsibilities

• Traveling to facilities throughout the region (Approximately 1.5 weeks every month)
• Meeting with project teams and clients to discuss project needs and present solutions.
• Supporting the installation/delivery of Control Panels, PLCs, & SCADA Servers, and Workstations.
• Documenting existing infrastructure.
• Developing plans to improve facility control systems in alignment with facility needs.
• Assembling proposals, scopes of work, budgets, and project timelines for SCADA & OT projects.
• Remotely monitoring assets across facilities and identifying maintenance needs or service degradation.
• Collaborating with other disciplines on equipment installation, startup & commissioning.
• Assessing system compliance with process control, resiliency, and cyber security standards.
